After Nimo Codec Pack 5.0.9 installation Windows Media Player wont play certain files

Don't try and fix something if it isn't broken - that's so true!

After I have installed Nimo Codec Pack 5.0.9 Microsoft cannot play certain MPG files. I've tried uninstalling Nimo Codec Pack 5.0.9 and reinstalling Media Player 9 - but no go!

The error messages is either "the file is corrupt" and "the stated module wasn't found" (rough translation from Danish).

Anyone who knows how to fix it?

If you're running WinXP, simply perform a "Restore" to prior to installing the codec pack...
