Burn DivX with subtitle

I have burned at cd with at divx movie with subtitle, and i puted in to my DivX player(North Q 5000), the movie played fine, but there were no subtitles
wath should i do ???
PS. i combined the divx and subtitle with a program called VobSub

Are you sure you actually added the subtitles? When i add subtitles to a avi i like to use virtualdub with the subtitler plugin. It uses .ssa format subtitles. You can easily convert sub/srt/etc to ssa with different freeware programms. Try some guides (digital or doom9). I'm sure you will succed.
