I am having trouble with my audio encoding
I wanted to use VP6 to reduce the file size of my avi files for download.
These are avi files from my canon power shot camera.
They are 8bit 11000khz 15fps 640x480
I got these directions from http://www.scvi.net/index.htm
I installed nsvtools-setup
Replaced nsvscsrc with the one in the zip file nsvscrc_031112
Installed vp6_vfw_codec-6-1-0-2
Installed win32_mean_and_lean_nsvenc_vp6_setup
Copy enc_aac.dll from winamp/plugins and placed it in the nsvtools directory
Renamed it to nsv_coder_acc.dll
From the command line in the nsvtools I run nsvenc /config to change parameters.
Then from the command line I run nsvenc my.avi my.nsv
The video encoding is perfect but the audio is very distorted.
It is like it is being overdriven.
The source file sounds fine
I tried this on another avi I downloaded and it did not have this problem.
It worked fine.
I have tried many variations on setting with no luck.
Any ideas why this is happening?
Any other alternatives?
