edit vobsubs

does anyone know if this can be done? i haven't seen any programs that can do this. i would like to remove hearing-impaired text from a couple of the vobsubs i have. i know i could convert to srt or sub or something else, but i would like to keep the vobsubs

You could just manually edit the idx file in a text editor.
You won't be able to see the subs themselves that way, just time stamps and file positions, so you will need to view the movie while you do it.
