TMPGEnc - Anyone know why this is happening?

Hey, i just split the movie i had into 40 minute parts. As the movie is just over an hour. I then opened TMPGEnc and selected NTSC film as the frame rate was 23. Then added the video file which clicked next, next again, then when i got onto the screen with how big the file will be and setting like that it was over 800mb. And the movie info says:
    Movie info: 352x450 23.976 fps / 44100 Hz stereo / 137 min 43 sec

Im trying to put this onto two cd-r's and i dont understand why it says 137 min. Anyone got any idea whats wrong or what im doing wrong?

      1) Load the ORIGINAL (before splitting) video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

      2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

      3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

The audio is in .MP3 Variable Bitrate ("VBR") format. For TMPGEnc to handle the file properly, the audio should be converted to .MP3 Constant Bitrate ("CBR") format. This can be accomplished as follows:

Converting .AVIs with VBR-MP3 Audio for use with TMPGEnc

Using VirtualDubMOD to Convert "VBR" .MP3 to Uncompressed .WAV

          1) Load the .AVI file into VirtualDubMOD (a different program than the standard VirtualDub)

          2) From the "Video" dropdown menu, select "Direct Stream Copy"

          3) From the "Streams" dropdown menu, select "Stream List" - and rightclick on the audio stream, then select "Full Processing Mode" - then click on "OK"

          4) From the "File" dropdown menu, save .AVI with a new filename

Thank you once again. When i was opening the ORIGINAL non-split file in VirtualDubMod i got the following message:

Is this anything i need to worry about? Or shall i just carry on?

You've just posted a DUPLICATE of the "File Information" box. Just follow the instructions for converting VBR to CBR that I listed in my last post...

Thank you very much setarip, it worked succesfully. Also if i wanted to make the NTSC FILM widescreen - would i select, 16:9 525 line (NTSC) ?
                    Or would i select another?

                      Try the following in TMPGEnc:

Click the "Video" tab and change applicable settings to: 352X240 (PAL 352x288), 4:3 (NTSC or PAL as appropriate) 525 Line. Click the "Advanced" tab and change applicable settings to: "16:9 Display", either "Fullscreen (Keep Aspect Ratio)" or "Center (Keep aspect ratio)", and 352x240 (PAL 352x288).

                      Let us know of your success ;>}

I thought it was all going well, ive had this problem before but couldn't resolve it - I got the error "Invalid pointer operation".
Is there anyway i could get it to work?

If not already done, install BOTH an XviD codec (DIfferent than DivX) and the FFDShow Filter...

I installed both, ran it again, but still getting the same error. Any ideas?

NOTE: Also if it helps any i played the .mpg that TMPGEnc made in Divx player, it was fine till about half way through it, then there was no volume after the half.
