problems with convert rm vbr to avi help!

hi , i had a problem converting a rm "vbr file", the file was 44 min long and 175mb, and after the conversion was done , it gave me an error, saying java run time error, but if i convert it to 10 mins it works , so how to fix this problem anyone ?

and where can i get a rm vbr file splitter ?
so i can split the file into many files.( like 10mins each)
