joining of two types of formats of divx

Hai I have two avi files two join(one is divx4 and the other is divx3). Kindly help me to join them.

You can try joining them directly in virtual dub (check out Nicky's guides). However, most likely you may have to convert the files to the same codec (e.g. convert both to divx 3 or divx 4). Then rejoin in Virtual Dub

Ensure both the "video" and "audio" are "direct stream copy" under "video">"compression" and select the codec.
