Burning problem

Hi Guys.

Every now and then when i rip and burn a dvd using dvdshrink and Record Now I get an error on the disk about 10-15 secs into the burning stage. It only happens now and then and other dvd's of the same make then work no problem.

Can anyone tell me what this error message means and how I can fix it?

Since there seems to be no consistency to this event, it's hard to tell what the cause is.

You should try to re-use the DVDs, since they probably haven't actually been burned at all after only 10-15 seconds into the procedure. Chances are the error occurred during "Lead-in", which does not involve actual burning...

Hi,

I haev tried re-using the dvd but it prompts me to insert a new one, so that one is wasted. I can normally insert a new one and that one will be fine.

Is it a prob with that particular dvd?

i am using an HP burner with dvd+r dvd's.

Is there anywhere I can find out what those error logs mean??
