    You have the answer in the subject, "Mov2Avi".

    Download that program and you'll be able to convert a /MOV to a .AVI.

    Let us know of your success ;>}

    P.S. Of course, you could also use Quicktime Professional...

          Well, I have mov2avi installed, and can run it from the command line in W2K to the extent that I can make the help files appear, but that's as far as I got. Is there some home page or html help page for mov2avi? TIA

            Have U tried dragging the .mov files into mov2avi.exe... it usually works with these kinds of progs
            At every wedding my grandma's were poking me and saying 'You're next'. They stopped doing that when i started doing the same thing on funerals.

              TMPGEnc will do it. I think Quicktime 6 will also. (Don't hold me to that!)
              Place the attached file in your TMPGEnc folder and you can now open *.mov files and convert to Mpeg1/2 or Avi.
