    problem with ac3

    I demux ac3 file from avi with Virtual dub mod, and when I play it from Windows media player, it sounds OK. But, when i do the multiplexing with Ifo edit and play muxed DVD there is not sound at all. Can anyone tell me why is that.

      You may have to fix the .AC3 audiostream's header (before multiplexing) - by using "AC3Fix"...

          I want to thank you for the reply, so I will run ac3 fix and then try it again. It just seems like the xvid with/without the ac3 is just causing me problems. I have some files ready for multiplexing, so I will run the fix and try them again.

          I would like to thank you again for your help. I will get back to the board when I have enough time to try multiplexing again.
