Microsof Error

I am a newbie.....yesterday I downloaded DVD Shrink and everytime I went to back up the dvd I kept receiving an error saying that microsoft has encountered a problem and asked me if I wanted to send the report or just close the application. Does this sound familiar? What should I do? I have tried un-installing and rein-stalling but I get the same message.

When you say a different source what exactly do you mean?

From a website OTHER THAN the one you originally downloded it from...
