I am backing up family guy with AutoGK and the source is NTSC - 720x480 - 4:3 Normal - 29,997fps. I would like a 22 min episode to be max 50mb. What should I set the max width resolution for in step 4? 320 or 352 or just leave it on auto?
That shouldn't take too long to rip. I'd try it and see which resolution you like better. Maybe even 720x480. A "standard" (780kbps video, 128kbps audio) quality Divx file is around 6.8mb/minute. So whatever you choose your quality will be somewhat poor.
