    encoding avi...

    i m using virtualdub to encode avi files , but


    but .... why some of the results have "jerky" scenes.

    how to encode the files so that the effect mentioned above will not results??????

    What is the format of the ORIGINAL file that you are converting?

      the orginal format is avi too ... because of the time that displayed is double of the orginal time so i want to compress it and then convert it to mpeg format...

        1) Load the original video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

        2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

        3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box
