Newb question - Beg your pardon

I'm using DVDShrink to split a DVD9 into 2 DVD5's using the replace with still image function and no compression on the menu or any extra data. Is it necessary that I should do a deep analysis?

By splitting to 2 discs you will be using Re-author in DVD Shrink which means you wont be able to retain the menu

If compression is not required neither is a Deep Analysis

Thanks for the almost immediate reply. Well I am able to retain menu functionality by doing a full disc backup and just replacing the unwanted video portions with a still image.

I suppose without a deep analysis I wouldn't need AEC too. Am I right?

        Correctamundo

If no compression is required neither a deep analysis or AEC quality enchancements are required

Getting along real fine, I ripped about 10 dvd's till date. Excellent quality and reproduction.

Thanks for the software coders and the helpful people(Mig$y) here.
