"But since last month the DVD's i burn can't be read anymore."

    1) They can't be read on a standalone DVD player, your PC, or both?

    2) Have you gotten a new/different batch of burnable media?

    3) Have you add/deleted any software to/from your PC?

    4) What program are you using to burn?

    5) Has the burning program been generating error messages? If so, post the error message (in full)

I have had some DVDs that I have had to "Re-Author" instead of backup in shrink.

I always used WinDVD to play them but since last month nothing happens when i open the programm. I didn't deleted any software that could change the movies.... and i burn the DVD's with DVDShrink. There were no error messages.

If you open up windows file manager - can you see if there is anything on the burned DVDs?

"I always used WinDVD to play them but since last month nothing happens when i open the programm."

In WinDVD, open the "Properties" dialog. Under the "General" tab, make sure you have your DVD burner/player selected as the "Default DVD Drive" and "Autoplay" is checked. Click on "Apply" and then on "OK"...

There is data on the DVD but i can't open or play it. i don't think the software is the problem because it plays regular movies and DVD's i burned earlier.

Try playing them on a standalone DVD player (Make certain it's one that can read the type of media you have burned)...

And again I would ask you, have you gotten a new/different batch of burnable media?

Again, I'm suggesting that you try playing them on a STANDALONE DVD PLAYER (Make certain it's one that can read the type of media you have burned).

My suggestion has NOTHING to do with software DVD players that you use on your computer...

                          I'm afraid I don't understand your question.

Is it that you don't know what a standalone DVD player is?

Or is it that you don't know how to determine if the standalone player can playback DVD-Rs, DVD-R/Ws, DVD+Rs, DVD+R/Ws?

                              Stand alone Player?

What is a stand alone player?

The CD player type device that plugs into your Television or VCR and Digital Audio Reciever.
