subtitle not showing need help

Hi al

A view days ago i asked a question here on this forum about a subtitle that wasn't showing when i play the movie.
Still need some help with that, still not working.
I have downloaded several subtitle's for this movie but can't to find the right one,i have subadjust and work with it to fit the sub.and when i play the movie (BS-player, Microdvd) the sub is not showing.
When i putt an other sub in it from other movie it is showing the sub.
The movie i talk about is The tigger movie and i need Dutch sub.
Can anybody tell me what to do? or have you any suggestion were i can find movie subtitle's?
This is were i have my sub. file's downloaded.
Divxsubtitles.net
subtitle.cz
and find some other dutch page's true google
but it seems that none of them have the right file for me or am i doing something wrong????

What is the extension of your sub?
Is it .srt like it should be?

I've try them all, with subadjust i have make it an ;
Subviewer
srt
microdvd
but none of this will work.
The fps and time to begin the sub are right it just isn't showing.
I've wrote down some time's from the sub. and that was looking good with the time in the movie.
I'm getting a little bit frustrated from this one

I have a similar problem. I've just downloaded Amelie from Montmartre and have no idea how to get subs into the film???
I have a file called *.srt but what do I do with it??

I'm using a different program for subtitles editting etc namely Subsync

Imho this is the best subtitle program around and when ediiting you can SEE whether or not the subtitle will be displayed.
You will need srt subtitles for this one (but they usually are)

It comes with a modified WMPlayer which also let you view the movie and the subtitles also

So my suggestion would be to use this program; if you are having more difficulties then i will be able to help you a little bit more (i think )

Hi Abdul

I can see why you're a super member
Now i know how to use subsync for real (silly me)
I tought that i must put all the line's from the sub into the right place,and i was scarred because that would take ouers to watch to a movie with sub's (what was i thinking?)
I'll go try subsync once more and now the right way.

I made a webpage on how to do this in DUTCH, and i know i gives my children a lot of pleasure

Make a vcd was indead my meaning of it, how you can do that is written at several internet pages but indead always in english
and when you like me new in this it can be very difficult.
So i think i have to thank you again for making it all in dutch so i can understand better what i'm doing ))
I'm sure i will have a question again and i hope i will get as great help as i get from you.
