          question

This is a dumb question, but how do you update the firmware. I tried running an MS Dos boot disk made with XP, but it wouldn't let me run that firmware program. It gave me and error about the wrong version of DOS or something.

Ok, try to do the flash from Windows - just run the EXE file. Do not have any disc inside the burner while flashing.

                      Hi Floppy!

Thougt the first link should go to original firmware - but that link must be a joke.

                        @ cynthia

I always point reference to the official sites and support, in regards to firmware...

Ence why I wont reference people to that site just in case they fall in temptation to download a hacked firmware version and something goes wrong...

I know it is not our responsability for such events being of good or bad results, but I rather not have that in my conscience.

In no way am I recriminating anyone for their advice or links posted... freedom is freedom.

In this case I though it was great of you to go to an official source instead...

The problem many times is to find where they have hidden the firmwares on the burners homepages ...
