First time poster with an error problem...

Hi this is my first post here but have had this site saved for some time now. I am using a Sony DRU-710A and have used it successfully for about a month. About a week ago I started having problems. I use Nero with the new updates and DVD shrink and at about 40% burn I get this error message:

What kind of media are you using?

Do you have the latest firmware installed? - http://sony.storagesupport.com/dvdrw/firmware.htm

What OS do you have? If XP, have you recently installed SP2?

Turn on DMA for that drive. Control Panel> System> Hardware Tab> Device Manager

Turn on DMA for that drive. Control Panel> System> Hardware Tab> Device Manager> IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers> Right Click Primary IDE channel> Properties> Advanced Settings Tab> Transfer Mode

Might have to do Secondary channel as well.
