After 30 days the burning will go down to slowest possible rate - it don't help if you try to uninstall/reinstall. You could format your hard disk and install it again...

If you are thinking of using the software with DVDShrink you could go for the freeware DVDDecrypter instead.

Slowest Possible Rate isn't such a bad thing anyhow. 4x Write seems to be the best rate to burn DVD's. I have the Registered Nero 6 Suite and I always burn all of mine at 4x's. My Sony Double Layer RW is 16x usable but at 4x setting it does the burns just as fast as it would with it at Maximum because all that Buffer Mumbo just tends to slow things down.
