Video skiping

Hello. Im new to this form. I just bought a new burner "optorite
DvD+RW/-RW drive". My system is a
p4 2 gig. Im having problems backing up a few of my DVd's

I have 3 DVD,s for xmas. I Robot, Lord of the rings return of the king, ,Harry Pottor. I robot came out just fine however
when I try to play my back up copy of lord of the rings it plays well for about 10 minutes then it starts to skip and skip more
and then it just stops. I tryed cleaning the DVD but it still does the same thing.

Harry potter wont play. It skips right from the begining and stops.

Has Does else have tgis problem?

Are you using the same media?

If so, slow down your burn speed and avoid multi-tasking whilst you are burning.

Also check here for media compatability with your DVD player

Hi Mig$y! That was fast! When I try to play them on my pc
im using real player or InterActual player. Its plays fine for abit then the skipping starts. When I take the DVd backup to my Dvd Playr, panasonic on my TV, It just skips and I see the square block images poping in and out.

Consider installing a decent s/w player such as PowerDVD or Win DVD....http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/do...=10&detail=low and follow my suggestion in my previous post....

Thanks alot. I ordered the player. But i goofed. I ordered the box instead of the download. So Im stuck watching the movie for 30 minutes.

Help Please!

Guys I was having skipping problems so I told my friend. He recamended me to this site

I changed some of my settings and now when DvD shrink finishes
backing up it doesnt automaticly ask me to put in a blank disk
to it can burn. I checked and "use nero to burn" is checked. I must have done somthing else. any way to make it go back?
