What DVD Player do you have? Are those 4 movies you burned on a different brand of DVD-R recordable disk? Maybe a cheap special they had at Best Buy or something?

You could post your logfile from Nero.

The movies will not register on a PC either, its like the DVD didnt close out properly, but I was told everything was successful. What I find funny is ill back up 5 movies in a row, exactly the same way with the same DVD media, but the third DVD is bad, everything else is fine. I dont understand.

Could be "bad disc" out of the bunch. If they won't even play in the computer, its 1 of 2 things more than likely.

                    1. That recording format (ie. +r or -r) is not compatible with your DVD burner.

                    2. Even though you getting a message saying burn successful, you may not be doing the correct compilation style. You want "DVD-Video" in Nero.

What program are you using to burn?

They are all +r disks and the dvd burner is also +r. I use nero to burn, I set dvd shrink to automatically burn with nero

I can only burn in -R and I don't think it is the disks because have tried 3 different brands Is there a way to close a disc after it has been burnt
