question about nero

hey guys..once again thank you for all of your help...i have a lite on 16x dvd burner that came with nero start smart...when i try to install the nero start smart it acts like it's going to do well but then beeps and says some files are missing...what is going on?? should i go to the old versions of nero and get one from there?? but the only problem is they all seem to be demos...so what should i do???

So, it came with the installation CD ? If you are trying to install it from that CD, check and see if the CD is dirty or ANY scratches.

it is neither scratched nor dirty...so what should i do?

Sounds as the disc is corrupted some how. Is there a serial number located on the disc or packaging somewhere?

If you can find a serial number, download a trail version, then register it with your serial number.
