    Audio Sync and IVTC

OK I had a post in here a few days ago about audio sync using DV Reaper. My problem still exists unfortunately . Here are all the specs of the audio file:

    sound file : 6ch 559kbps.ac3

now when I try try multiplex a window pops up that says

    "fmt Tag: SampFreq:48000, channels: 5, Bitrate 448kbps"

now it says the bit rate is 448kbps but the ac3 file is at 559kbps. Will this difference in the two bit rates result in a final avi file that is out of sync? If so how do I fix this? Does it have anything to do with IVTC settings. I tried to multiplex the audio at 128ms and interleave 128ms. What ends up happening is the first few minutes are in sync but as the movie plays the audio goes mor and more out of sync.

I have no idea what IVTC is so maybe someone can explain it to me. BTW; the only audio streams available with this DVD is 6 channel.

Thanks in advance for your assistance
