How do u do steps 3-5?

you have downloaded the wrong version (download the "alpha" version). the one you have installed is very old (released over 2 years ago)

uninstall your current version, and get the ALHPA version

It is the ALHPA version...
I downloaded the ALPHA version.
It was made last October.
I download:
ffdshow-20041012.exe 2030080 413282 i386 .exe (32-bit Windows)

Tell which package to download if thats not the right one.

the one you said you downloaded is the correct one (the same one i have), but i don't know what's happened, because mine looks like this:
