Get better disc to burn to.

    "Disc Manufacturer: CMC MA - G. AE1"
    Crappiest media to burn to.

    "Burn process started at 8x (11,080 KB/s)"
With cheap media like that, I recommend burning at no faster than 4X. Might have to go down to 2X or 2.5X .

    "Media Specific [16..63]:
    00 30 00 10 20 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 .0..............
    00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................
    00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................"
Your burner isn't recognizing your media.

Thank you very much for the quick response. I've now been burning fine at 4x, was just worried that there's a hardware problem with the drive or computer.

      Thanks again.

You're very welcome! Glad I could help.

Everything looks great except for the media brand. Good luck in your future burnings!

How do you identify the brand from the media code (CMC MA - G. AE1)?

I'm sorry Grinch, I meant to say Media ID, not media brand.

Media ID is what really matters, not the label.

No problem, same question. How do you translate the code? What tells you the type of media and how good it is? If I saw a log from someone else how would I translate the code?
