    Popular DIVX converter

    What is the most popular, (meaning positive comments), DIVX converter to use?

    I'm looking at Dr DIVX and the AOA DVD ripper?

    I want to eventually go from DVD to the web for media player.

    THANK YOU.

    I use virtualdubmod.
    There's also a freebie called "Pocket DivX". Although designed for pocket PC, there is an option for "normal" PC, and you can choose DivX or Xvid in it's options. It's fast, and reliable.
    There are plenty that say Auto Gordian Knot is the best, but I find it slow.
    Use whatever you like, they're free
    On another note, there's always the command line Mencoder...

            Thank you - I didn't think anyone else would be using that same "Kramer" avatar!

            Good to see you posting again ;>}
