In need of help - newbie (dvd related)

Hi guys and gals,

I have the following problem - I have on my hard disk a folder that consist dvd files (which suppose to be a whole movie). The files in there are vob, ifo and bup.

I also have a dvd recorder though i have no idea whatsoever of how to make this files\folder into a dvd that can be watched on a dvd standalone player.

After purchasing burnable DVD media that is compatible with both your DVD burner and the standalone player, the simplest way to make a DVD from this DVD "package" would be to use the NERO burning program:

1) Set to "DVD-Video" mode

2) Copy ALL DVD files (.IFOs, .BUPs, .VOBs) into NERO's RED "VIDEO_TS" folder

3) Burn

To determine the capabilities/limitations of your DVD burner, as well as media compatibility, go to:

(If necessary, open the Device Manager in the Control Panel to determine the make and model number)

Well it worked well with nero... Though my dvd cant read dvd-r media. lol its time for a new one i suppose....

Anyhow i have a second question to throw at you:
I got a movie which the subtitles are a bit delayed... How can i make it synchronized with the sound. i think the subtitles is 3 seconds ahead throughout the movie, I mean same melay all along.
