nero 6, mpeg-4 decoding is not available

    hello everyone,

Just installed nero 6.6.0.13 ultra edition, with all serials, for multichannel, svd/vcd plugin etc.
Then I want to make a SVCD with an Xvid AVI file, with nero burning rom - however as I drag the file over and it analyzes the file, I get the message:

"Due to patent license restrictions, MPEG-4 Decoding is not available. This feature can be added by installing the Nero 6 retail package or the web version"

The version I have, is a version I have paid for, so this sounds like garbage to me!

Also I have all xvid, divx, tag2000audio codec, etc installed

I have googled for this, however I only get some strange results, so I hope some of you might have some answers.

Is it a plugin I need, or another serial, or the like?

    kind regards,
    Nipmads

ps. attached is an image of the error message

Welcome to the Digital Video Forums of Digital Digest!

I believe you have to use the NEROVision 3 program (part of the "Ultra" package) to convert .AVIs...
