why does my convert mpeg looks stretched

Hi am very new to this forum. I converted Video Clip -> AVI -> MPEG -> VCD. However the end results looks stretched.

I used WimMpg->Tmpenc->Nero

This has not happened b4 would appreciated any help out there?

If you mean that it "looks stretched" when played back on your PC, that's because VCDs and SVCDs are meant to be played back on a standalone DVD player (which will properly interpret the VCD display and format information contained on the burned VCD) hooked up to your TV...
