    changing the region

    how do u change the region or completely get rid of it with dvd shrink 3.2 ?
    want to do a copy but change the region code ? is this possible ? kev

    yes, when you hit back up, go to the dvd region tab. it should prompt you about this when you start, and you need to enter the proper region of the disc your copying first.

              That's not a region issue. That sounds like you're trying to play an NTSC video in a PAL player, or a PAL video in an NTSC player. If it was a region issue, you wouldn't be able to see the video at all.

              You didn't specify what region the video is in (if it's a "copy" or a homemade disc, it will play in all region settings), or what part of the world you're in, but you would need to play it in a player that can play both NTSC and PAL formats.

                yes, definetly sounds like a pal/ntsc problem.

                you need to find out the regions for the disc and player as well as if its pal or ntsc

                  use avicodec, Gspot, or Virtualdub mpeg2 (all free) and open one of the vob's. look at the video resolution and the fps. this will tell you if the video is pal or ntsc

                      try using google and search for the mentioned programs.....should take about 1 minute.....
