    Video capture software

I just got an ADVC110, but it didn't come with any software. I want to use it to record some 8mm tapes to the computer (running mac OSX). What software should I use to do this?

    Thanks!

I'm not very familiar with Mac software. I've got my Canopus ADVC-100 hooked up to my PC and I use winDV with it which works really well. Unfortunately, I don't believe WinDV runs on a Mac.

A friend at work uses QuickTime Broadcaster on his Mac to do firewire/DV captures to his hard drive and he says it does a good job. It's free. Try this link.
