Blur certain parts of a frame (censor)

    Hi!

I hope you guys can help me here!

I've made a video in which I want to blur certain parts in the movie (no it's not a xxx related movie . It's a movie about cars, so I don't want to show the licenseplates. The cars are moving so I need a moving (live?) filter which blurs only the plates. Is this possible? You see it sometimes on the TV (suspects i.e.). I use Adobe Premiere.

Any solutions??? Please reply if you have the answer!

    With regards,

The only thought that comes to mind would be to do it on an individual, frame-by-frame basis, using Donald Graft's logo filter from within VirtualDub.

By the way, didn't you post this same question a couple of months ago?

        blur

johnbmx4christ> The blur filter only applies to the whole frame, doesn't it?. Or can I use it on a certain part in the frame? Using a rectangular shape would also work great, but can you move it around in the frame?
