NEC DVD Writer and NVIDIA GeForce2 Problems?

Just remembered something when the computer starts up it says from F2+ (another character) for FLASH.

What is this.

I do also have a cd which came with the computer could a newer bios be on there?

In case this helps my motherboard model name is A7V8X-X

And current BIOS is 1007

Its ok i found the model number and have download the new bios

I have just updated BIOS to version 1013

just installing dvd burning software have not managed to try video caturing yet as friend has borrowed video until tomorrow.

Since reinstalling windows I can not reinstall the drivers for my sound card or firewire cards please any help would be create.

I have run windows update and also tried reinstalling drivers from cds but with no luck.

The sound is actually part of the motherboard.

Are the sound card and firewire card separete? ( = not build into your motherboard).

Have you tried to download the latest drivers from the manufactorys homepages instead of using the ones on your CD. I suspect you find later driver version on the homepage.
