    Watching a Ripped DVD

    What program do I need and what do I use to watch it (I've tried VLC and Window Media player)? The IFO files wont play it

    Hi and welcome to the forum, DaSkiDude!

    If you use Windows Media Player - select the VIDEO_TS.IFO file.

      i did that and i get and error that says Windows Media player can't play dvds

        download "media player classic" from http://www.free-codecs.com

        open the video_ts.ifo file with it

        OR, if you want to watch it with windows media player, you can download & install a program such as 'powerdvd', then play
