    Hi computer85,

I haven't used NAV in a couple years so I'm not sure what it going wrong after the live update. You might try doing a 'System Restore' in XP to the date before the update was installed, something else to try would be to install and run Spybot Search and Destroy, which could eliminate any spyware/malware which might be interfering with NAV.

have you tried contacting tech support? http://www.symantec.com

try maybe uninstalling, deleting the installation folder, and re-installing...

the help you get here may be limited though, as this place is really about digital video
