    what am I doing wrong

    I have an IMG file of a concert. 4.3gb in size. Just got in some DVD+r discs. First attempt used Nero , did a burn of image to disc. Took 1 1/2 hours but it completed fine. Clciked on the disc and instead of running it opened as a data disc. Showed audio and video folders with vob files, etc. I can open the vobs obviously but it doesn't run like a true dvd. Asked a friend and he suggested using dvd shrink and to just click backup. Started the program, selected the image file. Took about 9 minutes to do whatever calculations it needed and then it began a burn. Again took forever but it finished fine. Once again clicked on the disc and sadly once again it only opened up to files and folders and not "data". What did I do wrong? I used defaults inside dvdshrink (click on file then click on backup).

    if ur burned dvd dont play in stand alone dvd player or even on ur pc dvd software as normal dvd's......
    here what u can do, assuming ur img is not a dvd image, let make one.
    using Nero

    1:- new compilation - dvd video.
    2:- drag ur video folder to VIDEO_TS
    3:- Press Burn. now it should work as dvd

    Hope this helps
    Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

            sounds like what "atifsh" is stating.
            1 click dvd video in the new compilation window
            2 click new
            3 drag and drop all the vob, bup and ifo files in the red VIDEO_TS folder nero created
            4 burn
            the AUDIO_TS folder will be empty
