Can't read my "backup" movies on PC! ??

I backup a movie using DVD shrink on my PC which is running Windows MCE 2005.

When I try to play the movie on my PC, I get the following error when trying to open the backup DVD...

"Disc Not Formatted: Windows can not read from the disc. The disc may be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows"

I've uploaded a screenshot of this error.

When I put the backup DVD into another PC, it works fine, as well as playing it on my standalone DVD player....

    Please help!

When I put the burned disc into the computer, it changes the drive description from "DVD-RW Drive" to "CD Drive"

    Very strange!

Works fine on my other PCs.........

What is the brand and model # of your DVD burner or drive that is giving you that error message?

What format is the blank media you are trying to get it to read, is it DVD-R, DVD-RW, or DVD+R, DVD+RW?

"When I put the burned disc into the computer, it changes the drive description from "DVD-RW Drive" to "CD Drive""
That is normal. Everyones computer does that. Cause what is a DVD? Its a "Compact Disc".

        It is a Lite-On DVDRW SOHW-812S drive.

        Using Ritek 8x DVD+R media

Lite-On has been upgraded to the latest firmware. It burns the DVDs fine, just can't play them after the fact. WEIRD!
