    DVD stops after 8 titles

    ok, the story is...

i have 14 episodes of south park in avi format, i have converted these into DVD format using WinAVI converter, and i used Nero to burn these to a 4.7gb DVD-R, it only took up about 3.9GB of the total disc space, it burned fine, and it plays fine, but after the end of the 8th episode... the dvd stops. if i play the DVD on my pc with Windows media player, i can select titles 9-14 by double clicking on them, but the DVD stops after each one.

i have also tried using DVDsanta to burn these but the same thing happens.

how can i burn the titles so that the DVD plays right from start to finish?

any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm not familiar with WinAVI converter but it sounds like a limitation of that program. Perhaps you could try loading that compilation into DVDShrink in reauthor mode, then drag and drop each title into a new compilation. I think Shrink supports up to 99 titlesets, regardless I'd test any re-authored compilation in a software player to verify it operates as expected before burning.

the only problem with that is, DVDshrink wont convert AVI to DVD format, i tried loading the VOBs into DVDshrink in reauthor mode and it stopped after 8 titles even though 14 titles are on the disc.

can u suggest any other software which will convert AVI to a DVD/VOB format?
