FaMis - Playback Problems

Hi ,
Has anybody experienced using a dvd copy program and then having a problem with playback on the writer. I have a brand new HP 1250 and now the rw drive does not play smoothly. I can play the movie on the other dirve without a problem.

thx for the reply i am working on the dma it seems that i have two primary controls one showed dma 5 and the seconday was dma2 the other was blank so i deleted the blank primary but on the reboot it came back ??? i have just started to learn about burning thx for the info John

Your DMA is OK. Blank or not applicable means nothing's connected.

since this drive is new...chances are you might be able to do a firmware update...a log would be great like blu suggested
