No audio from WinXP movie maker

I have a Gigabyte motherboard (GA-7DXR) on my computer with on-board sound card (creative 5880 sound driver). I put ATI All-In-Wonder 128 Pro video card on my PC as well. Recently I installed WinXP operating system. I transfered video from my Sharp digital camcorder (VL-SD20U) through WinXP movie maker by ATI Input Adapter. I could watch the video fine, but the problem is that I could NOT get any sound. I went to Star --> control panel --> sound, turned on everything. But I still could NOT have audio in my movie. Please help. Thanks.
