    ATI (aiw) Win2k & Win98 (or ME)

    hi boys.

i have one old ati all in wonder from 1999.(capture in ntsc & pal-m)
the software that came inside the cd is win95/98 but work in ME.
i'm using win2k now but i want to capture singles to my kid like tom & jerry from directv.
searching in ati homepage, was not found drives to use win2k or XP without lose the tunner feature.
i know (i did it before) that we can install win98 and after win2k and select the desired system when start but now i have only win2k updated and "everything" running fine.i don't want to format and lose all to install this 2 system again,then...as i can't get a new card(short money or less) i ask:

can install win98 over 2k without problems?
    or
who knows one drive somewhere to use the ati aiw in win2k without lose the tunner feature?

    in advance

      thank you rbrtpl.
that command lines and startup disks there give me 3 ideas, see if you agree:

1: (seems best using 2 hds)
using 2 hds, then don't need to do like in the link.
select in the boot using esc the hdd01(the second hd)
install win98(more "everything" needed" ) in this hd.
when boot again, use esc and select hdd00(win2k) or hdd01(win98).

      for 2 and 3:
use the guide in the link changing some commands
(i have to read more details there to see what need to change)

      2:
      one hdd,2 partitions:win2k(partition1),win98(partition2)

      3:
win2k is inside winnt folder, installing win 98 create an windows folder.
(all system together in the same hd/partition)

      what do you think rbrtpl?!?

        1. works fine, I have done it, kind of a hassle to go into bios tho

        2. fine if you have already got an extra partition setup

        3. bad, dangerous, don't

          cool.
i have hds for conditions 1 and 2.
choosing 1 is secure(if one hd break, the other still run)
