Help with Nero

If I`m posting this in the wrong forum I apologize, but my Nero display bar for the amount of memory on a disk is displaying as a DVD disc. Even when a Cd-R is in the drive. I`m figuring it is something in the settings but I couldn`t find it. I would like to use Nero to burn my MP3`s and music. I`m usind DVDImg and Shrink for my DVS and they work great. Any guidance. I did a search but couldn`t find anything related. Could the other 2 programs have any effect on my Nero Cd burn?

Go to menu File --> Preferences

From the little windows select the tab named General

From here, about in the middle, search "Horizontal scaling", and select "Automatic". In this way nero should show the correct scale for each media type.
