Is the quality of the output of this tool good?

I think you can set the compression... I know VirtualDub is very fast, but if you set uncompressed as the compression, it is as good as any other program with uncompressed output. However, maybe if you use XviD, then the quality wouldn't be as good as hoped. Hope that helps!CYA Later:

and IIRC it doesn't have any real settings. Do yourself a big favor and learn to use Tmpgen Plus. It is a good tool with alot of settings/filters etc. I use mainconcept for it's speed but the results IMO aren't any better the Tmpgenc PlusComment
