Does anyone happen to know a good online free virus scanner? Not necessarily a download, but available online.

I think that AVS is a free one (Google it). Symantec has a nice one that scans for viruses, but doesn't fix them, just tells you to buy the program
It is good for just detecting viruses, as viruses can't shut it down (like they did to McAfee on my computer before I reformatted it)

Heh, thanks Chewy. Just wondered why people give me [the color which shall not be mentioned] over the stupidest things. It has happened for other threads too, just not enough to bump me over.

Bitdefender do a pretty good online scan as well. Come to think of it, there are loads of 'em. See here:http://www.google.com/search?client=...utf-8&oe=utf-8 I use the bitdefender one now and again just to check that my AV software hasnt missed anything. I use AVG pro and I dont have any problems at all.Jack
