    Joining video files

    hello

    My HD is full and im trying to put some vids on a dvd. most of them are in avi or xvid codecs and i can re-encode them to put them on a dvd+r but alot of them are in 2 parts , does anyone know a good program to combine them into 1 file. Any help would be appreciated

    virtualdubmod

    open the first video file with it. under 'file', click 'append segment'. select the second file. under 'video', select 'direct stream copy. under 'file', click 'save as', and save with a new file name.

      Pun, just remember both files need to be of the same Framerate and Aspect ratio also.

        VOBMerge does VOB's. If they are not the same framerate or aspect ratio, you can always use Ulead Video Studio, that program is good at that.

        And, you can avoid stupid errors like this one:
