problems encoding to SVCD

Hello, this is the first time I'm trying to format to SVCD and can't seem to figure it out. I followed the guide succesfully for VCD but would like to get better quality with SVCD. I've tried several times to Flask to SVCD but at the end the first error I see is a BBMpeg box that says can't read some temp file. Then I see there are some data offsets in the messages as well a note that says "the resulting file may not play back correctly, try reducing the video bitrate or increasing the video and audio startup delays". The last time I tried I had checked the 'use computed bitrate' box, but that seemed to cause the audio and video to not match up. Even though I get errors it seems to create a file but when I try to split the file in two it hangs around 150 mb. Any suggestions I what I should try next? I'm totally confused at this point.
