how long does an average burner last i was told mine is going out. it keeps putting little pauses in the movie therefore it looks like **** when you watch it and if stops for a sec and when i make a copy with a copy while encodeing it fails and the same spot it pauses any body have any ideas besides cleaning just did that. by the way my burner has about 400 movies on it

if you burn slow the burner will last very long

could be a media firmware issue
