Cant burn dvd's, fails at burning stage

It doesnt matter what DVD i choose to burn,it always gets through the analysis part no probs,then it gets through the encoding part no probs,but it spits the disk out at about 5%-8% of the burning part everytime and a box appears with the info i have provided,the heading of the box says
" Burn process failed at 8x (11,080 KB/s)
- i am yet to have any success in burning,im using Verbatim DVD-R - im hoping that someone can have a look and see what my problem is please - i have noticed heaps of people have been helped out by experts here.

Since the atapi sys driver is missing I will assume sonic or something else
has removed it and put the problematic driver in it's place

you might consider using iso mode with shrink and imgburn for the burning program
