As for Quality Media... Verbatims! There is a guide that covers media ID's and their quality that you may find of interest.

Damn. I was looking at the Verbatim price's and it's pricy as ****. I get all my computer related stuff from a local store here in Toronto. They have good prices too. A 10 pack of DVD+R Verbatim's is 21 bucks! (http://canadacomputers.com/index.php...781&cid=719.88)
I can get a 50 pack of Sony DVD-R for 25 bucks (http://canadacomputers.com/index.php...19.88&mfg=SONY)Comment

Try Verbatim 8x DVD+R. DO NOT get 16x tho. Now, these are not the best, but they work great, as long as they are DVD+R and 8x.CYA Later:

Also, I tried burning to +R's once, and for some reason I kept getting an error when it was time for the burner to write to the disc... I've got a Vaio, and the burner is designed for both + & - R... any thoughts? It burns -R discs fine...Comment
