Vegas movie wont import camcorder DVD

Using vegas movie 6.0. GOt DVD from sony camcorder. DVD plays fine on computer with DVD player but Vegas movie file/import/camcorder DVD won't cork; computer says no disc in the drive. am I using the wrong function? thanks in advance for any help. Mark S.

Did you click the down arrow from the Source drop down list, press Browse, and select the DVD drive which holds your Camcorder DVD?

Sony Vegas 6.0C is the newest update, Please update if you haven't done so
